If your software is older than the last two updates the expiration notice is activated. A notification is sent each time the user logs into the software reminding them to upgrade. If this notification is ignored and the expiration date is reached, the software cannot be activated. There is no way to turn off the expiration once it is activated. Therefore, the software requires full installation. Claim history, setups, etc. is lost. If a restore is done the expiration is also restored. Please upgrade your software quarterly to avoid any loss of information.
