NGS-ACE Enhancement Coming Soon

The National Government Services EDI team is pleased to share an upcoming enhancement to the 277CA (Claims Acknowledgement) transaction.

Informational messages will be available in the 2200D Loop, STC segment of the 277CA transaction. These messages are not to advise of claim rejections, they are to alert you about important activities that need your attention.

For example, when your provider revalidation is due, as a courtesy, an informational message will be available in the 2200D Loop, STC segment of the 277CA transaction.

Informational messages will appear in Loop 2200D, STC01 = A1:20:41 (The claim was received/ accepted for processing); STC03 = WQ (Accept) in your 277CA transaction. Please see the example below:

STC*A1:20:41*20230331*WQ*150********SMARTEDIT (EDITID) followed by edit description.
WQ = RECEIVED/ACCEPTED FOR PROCESSING

STC*A3:23:41*20230331*U*150********SMARTEDIT (EDITID) followed by edit description.

U = NOT ACCEPTED
