Portable X-Ray Cost Analysis Survey

NGS, in collaboration with other MACs, has launched a crucial initiative to assess and update transportation allowances for portable X-ray services, as mandated by the CMS every five years.

Given that requirement, NGS has published an explanation and a sample of the Excel survey on our website, Portable X-Ray Cost Analysis Survey. The survey is a key component in ensuring that reimbursement rates reflect the current operational costs associated with Portable X-Ray services.

Providers are encouraged to thoroughly complete and submit their responses in Excel format to PXR@elevancehealth.com by the survey closure date, 7/31/2025.
