Prior Authorization Process for Repetitive Scheduled Nonemergent Ambulance Transport

CMS implemented the prior authorization program for RSNAT to reduce expenditures while maintaining and/or improving quality of care. This program applies to ambulance suppliers who provide Medicare Part B covered ambulance services and are enrolled as independent ambulance suppliers.
