NGSConnex Transition Timeline with Key Dates and Important Details

We transitioned to a new NGSConnex on 2/28/2022. You can’t access the current NGSConnex portal after 2/25/2022.

The following timeline contains important dates and details from the transition period. 

Date Important Details
Friday 2/11/2022
  • This is the last day to add new provider NPI/PTAN combinations to your user id until the new portal goes live on 2/28/2022. 
  • This is the last day for LSOs to Approve/Decline/Modify Data Access Requests until the new portal goes live on 2/28/2022. 
  • This is the last day to register a new account in current NGSConnex portal until the new portal goes live on 2/28/2022.
Saturday & Sunday 2/12/2022 - 2/13/2022
  • NGSConnex will be unavailable while we make updates. Do not attempt to login until Monday, 2/14/2022.
Monday - Sunday 2/14/2022 - 2/20/2022
  • There are two weeks until we transition to the new NGSConnex portal. 
  • The current NGSConnex portal remains fully functional except new account creation. 
  • Most historical information will transfer from the current to the new NGSConnex portal, but understand exceptions and save documents you need.
  • Register and attend a webinar to learn more about the new NGSConnex and ask questions.      
Monday 2/21/2022
  • There are seven days until the new NGSConnex portal goes live. 
  • The current NGSConnex portal remains fully functional. 
Tuesday 2/22/2022
  • The current NGSConnex portal remains fully functional. 
  • This is the last day to initiate new submissions in the current NGSConnex portal until the new NGSConnex portal is live on 2/28/2022, including:
    • Redeterminations
    • Reopenings
    • Responses to MR ADRs
    • Part B Claims
Wednesday & Thursday 2/23/2022 - 2/24/2022
  • The current NGSConnex portal remains functional for look-up transactions only. Submission functionality is unavailable until the new NGSConnex is live on 2/28/2022, including: 
    • Redeterminations
    • Reopenings
    • Responses to MR ADRs
    • Part B Claims
Friday 2/25/2022
  • The current NGSConnex portal remains functional for look-up transactions only until 7:00 p.m. ET. Submission functionality is unavailable until the new NGSConnex is live on 2/28/2022, including: 
    • Redeterminations
    • Reopenings
    • Responses to MR ADRs
    • Part B Claims
  • This is the last day to save documents before we retire the current NGSConnex portal. 
  • Log out of NGSConnex by 7:00 p.m. ET when we will bring NGSConnex down to start the transition. 
  • NGSConnex will remain unavailable until Monday, 2/28/2022. Do not attempt to login or migrate your account until the new NGSConnex portal is live Monday, 2/28/2022. 
Saturday & Sunday 2/26/2022 - 2/27/2022
  • NGSConnex will be unavailable while we transition to the new NGSConnex portal. Do not attempt to login or migrate your account until the new NGSConnex portal is live Monday, 2/28/2022. 
Effective Monday 2/28/2022
  • The New NGSConnex portal is live
  • Access the new portal from the same NGSMedicare.com landing page and follow the on-screen prompts to migrate your account. Our Migrating to the new NGSConnex video explains how to migrate an account.
  • Watch our Navigation in the new NGSConnex video learn how to navigate the new NGSConnex.
  • Register to attend a daily webinar to hear the latest news and ask questions. 
  • All inquiry and submission features and transactions resume with the exception of the a few transactions which will be temporarily unavailable. Until the following features become available again, use these alternatives:
    • Use check number to View and Print Remittance – you can access the remittance through Claim Details or the Remittance Tile
    • Initiate a Checks Search – you can call the IVR to obtain
    • View Part B Provider Earnings to Date – you can wait until the feature is available
