Familiarize Yourself with Enrollment Revalidation

How Will You Know it is Time to Revalidate

We will contact each provider or supplier when it is time to revalidate their enrollment information by sending a revalidation notice with a revalidation due date.  

We will send the revalidation notices two to three months prior to due date.  

We may send the revalidation notice by:

  • Email with “URGENT: Medicare Provider Enrollment Revalidation Request” in the subject line
  • Mail in a yellow envelope

Here are other tools you can use to determine it is time for you to revalidate.

  1. CMS Medicare Revalidation List Tool (updated every 60 days)
  2. Access PECOS   
    • Login to PECOS with your user ID and password
    • Select My Associates
    • Find the account that you wish to verify and select View Enrollment
    • Under Existing Enrollments, applicable fields will display indicating:
      • revalidation status,
      • revalidation due date and
      • revalidation received date.
