Course Catalog Tab
The Course Catalog Tab lists the courses available to enroll in. It will list them in catalog ID order.
The courses you have not enrolled in will be in blue and the courses you have already enrolled in will appear gray.
The courses within Medicare University are broken down per contract and/or self-reporting. To identify the courses, look at the course ID. Course definitions are as follows:
Course Code | Definition |
---|---|
AA-C-##### | Identifies self-reporting courses; these courses should be accessed after you have attended a training event (teleconference, webinar, or face-to-face event) |
PTA-C-##### | Identifies CBT created for the Part A community |
PTB-C-##### | Identifies CBTs created for the Part B community |
RHH-C-##### | Identifies CBTs created for the HH+H community |
FQC-C-##### | Identifies CBTs created for the FQHC community |
Field | Description |
---|---|
Clicking on the Detail button will take you to a screen that provides detailed information relating to the specific course selected. From the detail screen you will be able to enroll in a course by clicking on the button “Enroll” at the bottom of the pop up box. If you are already enrolled in the course this button will say Unenroll. |

Click on the icon to enroll in a course. Once clicked, a pop up will appear asking if you want to enroll in the course. Select “Yes” or “No.” |

Catalog ID | The Catalog ID is the course identification number. The specific contract the course is relating to will be identified in the Catalog ID column.

Name | The Course Name column provides you with the title of the training course. |
Description | The Course Description column provides a detailed description of what the course is about. |
To enroll in a course, you must click on the “Enroll” icon. Once you have enrolled in the course, you must return to the “My Courses” tab and click on the Launch course icon to begin taking the course.
