National Government Services, the Jurisdiction B Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractor (DME MAC), would like to welcome you to the Medicare program. As the Jurisdiction B DME MAC, we process durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics, and supply (DMEPOS) claims for the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

Medicare University
The Jurisdiction B DME MAC has developed over 20 computer-based training (CBT) courses to assist you in learning Medicare procedures along with taking in-depth looks at specific policies. Two “Introduction to Medicare” CBTs have been developed specifically for new suppliers that review the Medicare intake process and the billing process. Electronic Claims, Remittances, and Funds Transfer
Suppliers are encouraged to send electronic claims and sign up for both the electronic remittance advice (ERA) and electronic funds transfer (EFT). Not only do these electronic transactions provide tremendous benefits to a supplier, but submitting electronic claims and receiving EFTs are a requirement. Learn more about these electronic products and how to enroll by reviewing the Electronic Data Interchange chapter of the Jurisdiction B DME MAC Supplier Manual.

Jurisdiction B has developed a CD-ROM for new suppliers to introduce them to National Government Services and the Medicare program. If you would like to request a New Supplier CD-ROM at no cost to you, please send an e-mail to the DMETraining@anthem.com mailbox. Please include your company name, address, and phone number in the body of the e-mail, and include “New Supplier CD-ROM” in the subject line of your e-mail.
