Echocardiography R14 - (effective July 1, 2008):
Source of revision – Internal: (Change Request # 5999,
dated April 1, 2008. April 2008 Update to the Hospital
Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS)), the long
and short descriptors for HCPCS code C8925, C8926 and
C8927 has been revised to include “or without contrast
followed by with contrast.” Although R14 is effective
July 1, 2008 the change request update was effective
April 1, 2008. No notice period required and none given.
