Retirement of Local Coverage Determination (LCD) for Audiologic/Vestibular Function Tests
National Government Services for New York, Connecticut, and Delaware Part A will retire the Audiologic/Vestibular Function Tests LCD (L685) effective March 31 2008.
All local policy rules, requirements, and limitations within this LCD will no longer be applied on a prepayment basis, but as with any billed service, will be subject to postpayment review. All Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services national policy rules, requirements and limitations remain in effect.
