Network Service Vendors
National Government Services allows select network
service vendors to provide an alternative method of
communication to electronic data interchange (EDI) services.
The network service vendors available to all National
Government Services providers are ECC, IVANS, Nebo Systems,
and VisionShare.
These vendors offer services and benefits that include
connections for submission and receipt of Health Insurance
Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) transactions
and access to Direct Data Entry (DDE) (for Medicare
Part A providers) and to the Professional Provider Telecommunication
Network (PPTN) (for Medicare Part B providers) and Claims
Status Inquiry ( CSI) (for DME suppliers). To receive
