Enrollment
The Common Electronic Data Interchange (CEDI) provides a standard front-end system for all DME MAC electronic trading partners/submitters. CEDI provides a single front-end solution for the submission and retrieval of DME MAC electronic transactions.
The following electronic transactions are handled by CEDI:
- Electronic claims (ANSI X12N 837 and NCPDP)
- Delivery of all electronic front end reports
- Delivery of Electronic Remittance Advices (ERA)
- 276/277 Claim Status Request/Response Transactions
CEDI Enrollment Forms for the electronic transactions listed above are located on the CEDI Web site.
National Government Services, the Jurisdiction B DME MAC will process Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) and Claims Status Inquiry (CSI) setup requests. To sign up for EFT or CSI, complete the appropriate forms using the links below.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

For EFT enrollment, National Government Services must receive:
- A valid Medicare Identification number and NPI
- One EFT request form for each Medicare Identification number
- A voided blank check or bank affidavit (a pre printed deposit slip will not be accepted)
