National Government Services administers the Medicare home health & hospice contract for the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and the U.S. Territories of American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Virgin Islands serving over 1,900 home health & hospice providers of service.
National Government Services administers the Medicare Part B (medical insurance) contract for the states of Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, and New York serving over 158,000 Part B physicians and providers of service.
National Government Services is the Jurisdiction B Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Administrative Contractor for the states of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin serving over 23,100 durable medical equipment suppliers.
National Government Services processed over 208.8 million Medicare claims and administered benefits of more than $94.6 billion from the Medicare Trust Fund in fiscal year 2007.
Responded to over 11.2 million phone calls, 94,400 written inquiries, 1,500 Congressional inquiries, and 330 walk-ins from the Medicare community in fiscal year 2007.
